Marketing & Communications - Develops ongoing initiatives to engage with members and industry executives on social platforms, works with website team to assist with content development, and manages all social media accounts. This committee is also working on future initiatives such as a monthly newsletter, member engagement for promotions and features, and currently handles all email communications.
Events - Involved in the planning and execution of up to 12 events per year, including but not limited to venue selection, panelists, registration, run of show, plus food and beverage. This committee also works with the communications team to provide information for email promotion and social media posts/engagement for events.
Membership - Builds new student, corporate, and professional memberships while maintaining communication for renewals. This committee also maintains our ongoing database.
Website - Maintains all aspects of content and news on our website while staying up to date on guidelines from our national organization. In the future this team will work closely with marketing and communications to develop e-mails through the website system.
Sponsorship & Partnerships - Secures in-kind, monetary, and venue donations from sponsors for events and promotions as well as builds partnership with local organizations and corporate members. This committee will work with marketing and communications to build beneficial partnerships with sponsors to reach out members.
WISE Within - Assists with mentor and mentee matching for the WISE Within program as well as outlining meetings and a timeline to ensure meaningful sessions to encourage successful mentorships.
