Get to Know WISE

During this time of uncertainty, we want to let you know that the WISE SF Bay Area Chapter is committed to staying connected with Bay Area professionals. Now more than ever it's important to support each other and stay united, even if we have to do it virtually.

We launched the #GetToKnowWISE campaign with the goal to connect our WISE community, virtually. Our hope is that we continue to get to know each other, and use each other as a resource. You may have seen some of our featured members at events. Continue to follow us on all our social channel to interact and continue to stay abreast on news, resources and more featured WISE members. Below learn more from some of our awesome WISE members:

Megan Herrity brings 20 years of experience within the industry, is the President & Founder of Moxie Travel, and leads all @wisesfbayarea event programming. Connect with Megan for advice, or to use her as an additional resource for any professional challenges that you might be facing during this time. Connect with Megan on LinkedIn.

Meet Jessica Smith, Vice President, Sponsorship at the San Jose Earthquakes. Jessica has been in the sports industry for almost 15 years with experience in MiLB, MLB, NHL, and MLS. Her career began in ticket sales, evolving to sponsorship sales, and most recently, leadership opportunities in premium sales and sponsorship. Jessica believes that WISE is a platform where women in sports and events industries can come together to learn, network and ask for help/advice. It is a place to be vulnerable, offering and taking advice as needed to help one another succeed.

Jessica loves having the opportunity to meet new women through @wisesfbayarea, so be sure to reach out to her to network and finding ways to collaborate. Connect with Jessica on LinkedIn.

Meet Kelly Christian, Manager, Sports Marketing at Levis!

Kelly has been in the industry for almost 11 years with experience in branding, partnership activation, and start-up launches. Her career began with an internship in the marketing department where she learned how to launch brands and discover the ins and outs of starting a company. She has since been in the technology sector, working hand in hand with athletes to activate against major team/athlete partnerships and create "center of culture" moments within Super Bowl, NBA All-Star and other major sporting events.

Kelly has found community in WISE and a network of like-minded women to lean on and learn from. She believes that it is a place to push yourself to achieve the impossible, step out of your comfort zone and make life-long friendships! Reach out to Kelly if you need career help, want to go on a walk and chat or grab a coffee and workout! Connect with Kelly on LinkedIn.
