Join us for our WISE Conversation and hear from Kristen Gambetta of Rakuten and Patty Hubbard of BFWD as they discuss the importance of knowing your worth when negotiating salaries, seeking promotions and weighing stability vs. risk when making new career moves.
About Kristen Gambetta: As the Senior Director of Sports and Entertainment, Kristen leverages partner assets and strategic insights to drive, design, and deploy sponsorship activation for blue chip brands. She has experience spearheading national and global integrated multi-channel (i.e., television, digital, social, experiential) marketing campaigns.
Kristen's most recent project includes bringing the Rakuten House pop-up experience to life at the NBA's 2020 All Star Game in Chicago. The pop-up experience celebrated a combination of sports, fashion, art and entertainment. With her leadership, attendees enjoyed a curated shopping experience with live music and entertainment, influencer Master Classes, along with the chance to win State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and NBA All-Star Game tickets, NBA merchandise and a meet and greet with Chicago Bulls player Zach Lavine.
About Patty Hubbard: Patty is one of the founding members of our WISE chapter, and WISE brought her and Kristen together! Patty is the Managing Director & Co-Founder of BFWD. BFWD helps athletes tap into the power of their platform. They believe an athlete’s story isn’t confined to the field of play. Every athlete has more than one passion, more than one mark to make, and should have the opportunity to create a legacy that lives on after the last whistle blows.
