Dear WISE Members and Supporters,
As the Board of Directors for this amazing group, we continuously look for ways to leverage our network and share knowledge among the WISE community. With a limited number of WISE events each year, we are always searching for new avenues that allows members to learn from each other's experiences. Our membership is made up of women (and some men!) from a wide range of organizations including teams, leagues, agencies, media outlets, technology companies, and non-profits. These individuals are at different varying points within their career and have great viewpoints.
With that being said, we are excited to launch our new blog, WISE Words! This will be a place for those within our community to provide advice, knowledge, and inspiration by sharing stories and experiences. From industry experts, to WISE committee members, to students, there will be members and guest bloggers covering a variety of topics. We will also use it as a place where you can find out what local events within the greater sports and events industries are coming up, and what you might have missed at our last WISE event.
We invite you to share your stories and contribute to the blog so this can be a place for everyone with a common interest to receive valuable information!
