Olivia Passanisi is an Account Executive at Cal Athletics, where she supports Football and Men’s Basketball. She brings a dynamic background in sports business and athlete development, shaped by prior roles with the San Francisco Giants in Premium Memberships and Sonoma Raceway in Administrative Operations.
While earning her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Management from Saint Mary’s College of California, Olivia held dual year-long positions as a Graduate Assistant Rowing Coach and Athletic Development Coordinator. She graduated in May 2024, blending a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience in coaching, fundraising, and community engagement. A proud alumna of the University of Southern California, Olivia earned her degree in Cognitive Science with minors in Nutrition/Health Promotion and Forensics/Criminality. During her five years on USC’s women’s rowing team, she served as team captain for three seasons and was selected to the USRowing National Team. Outside of work, Olivia helps lead a pilot rowing program at the Olympic Club and is an enthusiastic supporter of her two favorite college football teams—the USC Trojans and the Cal Golden Bears. She has completed three marathons and dreams of one day running the Great Wall of China. Her favorite hobbies include strength training, long walks with friends and family, and attending live sporting events—whether it’s PBR or the MLB.
As the Membership Chair of WISE SF Bay Area, Olivia is passionate about paying mentorship forward—sharing her story, creating opportunities for others, and fostering inclusive, empowering communities in every space she enters. WISE has played a pivotal role in shaping her self-confidence and connecting her with a powerful network of women in the industry—many of whom have become lifelong friends.
